The following conditions apply to all services executed to our
clients through the companies or websites: African Bundu Safaris
cc, Zululand Flying Service, Accommodation in Africa, Accommodation
in Botswana & Accommodation in Namibia.
1. The head office for all the above companies or websites is in South Africa – with AFRICAN BUNDU SAFARIS cc being the registered Tourism Company.
2. An enquiry is not deemed as a confirmed booking.
3. A provisional booking shall be held for a short duration,
waiting for the decision of the client to decide if they want
to confirm the booking or change the itinerary.
4. A booking is confirmed only once a deposit or full payment
has been received by African Bundu Safaris and reflecting in
their bank account.
5. A confirmed booking shall be acknowledged in writing by us,
followed by your detailed vouchers.
6. Our method of correspondence is writing –via e-mail
or fax (for South African enquiries without access to e-mail.)
We do not reply by telephone.
7. The majority of our safaris are customised, so there are no
set prices – once an itinerary is finalised, then we shall
quote.
8. We do not produce any brochures and do not advertise in magazines – we
rely on word-of-mouth and our websites!
9. For references, please consult our guestbook comments and
Dean’s Diary – or your nearest SA Tourism office.
10. We do not mark up the prices of the establishments we support;
we charge the same public rate you would get if booking direct.
11. We should answer your initial enquiry before sunset tomorrow!
If we do not, please resend your enquiry – something has
been lost in Cyber-space!
12. Remember, we do not know you yet, so give us as much information
as possible with your first enquiry.
13. We do offer a fast, friendly and efficient service – so
reply to our e-mail answers soonest.
14. Depending on your type of trip, generally speaking, a 25%
deposit is required to confirm a booking and the balance of funds
is required in our account 45 day prior to your arrival.
15. We accept payment with Visa or MasterCard credit cards. We
have a credit card authorisation form which you are required
to complete. Do NOT e-mail us your CC details.
16. We also accept payment into our bank account. Your banks
will charge you a small fee to wire the funds to us.
17. Our office hours are weekdays, from 06h00 to 15h00 UCT (GMT)
{08h00 to 17h00 SA time}. If you want to phone us, try phone
within those hours please.
18. Cancellation Policy: As we deal with many different establishment
who all have their own policies – we shall always try our
best to get as much of a refund as possible, should there be
a need for this. Refunds take a long time to process – please
be patient.
19. Cancellation – deposit non-refundable. Very often the
deposit you pay is non-refundable.
20. Cancellation – advance notice. The longer before your
planned trip that you cancel, the more of a refund you shall
get and on average, any booking cancelled less than 10 days prior
to arrival, there is no refund.
21. Cancellation – airlines. If we have booked any airline
flights on your behalf and you have to cancel, generally speaking,
they do not refund, as we would have sourced the cheapest seats
and this is one of the conditions of purchasing a cheaper seat.
22. Compliments or complaints: Both are always welcome – in
a cool, calm and pleasant manner. Always approach the Manager
first at any establishment before contacting us.
23. Feedback – we thrive on feedback after your trip and
use your comments in our guestbook and Dean’s Diary.
